Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make sites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide reporting information to site owners. This Cookie Policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as web beacons, pixels, and local storage) used on prosigns.io and how you can control them.

We classify cookies into four categories. Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent; the remaining categories are set only after you grant consent through the cookie banner or your browser settings, where applicable.

• Strictly necessary. Required for the Site to function — session management, security, load balancing, CSRF protection, and the cookie-consent state itself.
• Functional. Remember your preferences (e.g., language, region, last-viewed content) so the Site can deliver a consistent experience across visits.
• Analytics. Help us understand how visitors use the Site so we can improve it. We use privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible, PostHog) configured to minimize personal data collection. IP addresses are truncated; no cross-site tracking.
• Advertising. Used for measuring the effectiveness of paid acquisition channels and for retargeting, where you have explicitly consented. Disabled by default.

The current cookie inventory on prosigns.io:

• Prosigns first-party. Session, CSRF, and preference cookies set directly by prosigns.io. Strictly necessary or functional.
• Cloudflare Turnstile. Anti-spam protection on forms. Strictly necessary; sets a short-lived first-party challenge cookie.
• Plausible Analytics. Privacy-respecting analytics. Does not use cookies; uses ephemeral local storage to deduplicate page views within a browsing session. Analytics category.
• PostHog. Product analytics for tools and interactive surfaces. Configured for IP truncation and no cross-site tracking. Analytics category. Loaded only after consent.
• Google Tag Manager / advertising pixels. Used for paid-acquisition measurement. Loaded only after explicit consent. Advertising category. Honored through consent-mode v2.

You can control cookies in three ways:

• Cookie banner. The banner shown on your first visit lets you accept all categories, accept only strictly necessary, or open detailed preferences.
• Browser settings. All major browsers let you block or delete cookies. Note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Site (e.g., form submissions).
• Global Privacy Control. We honor the GPC signal for visitors in jurisdictions where it is recognized — including California (CCPA / CPRA) and any future jurisdictions that adopt it.

Browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals are not consistently implemented across browsers and have not been adopted as a uniform standard. We do not currently respond to DNT signals, but we do honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) where applicable, and you can withdraw consent at any time through the cookie banner or browser settings.

We update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change cookie providers, or when applicable law requires updated disclosure. The “Last updated” date at the top of this document indicates the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced through a notice on the Site.
